When you purchase a subscription, the payment form detects your location to display the price in your currency.

If the currency to convert to (the customer's currency) is one of the theis major currencies (JPY, NOK, NZD, SEK, SGD) , the system will get the Oanda exchange rate, mark it 3.5% higher to adjust for currency fluctuations, and then convert the price defined in USD to the customer's currency using the mark-up rate.

If the currency to convert to is not a major currency, the Oanda exchange rate will be marked 5.5% higher to determine the conversion rate.

Then VAT (value-added tax) will be added to the converted price if applicable depending on the visitor's location and type (business or non-business customer).

It depends where you come from and if you are a non-business or a business customer. That's why our subscription prices displayed on our website do not include VAT.

Yes.

VAT can be refunded within 30 days of a charge when a valid VAT ID is provided and the order is paid with credit/debit card, PayPal, or Amazon Payments. Please contact FastSpring (our reseller) at orders@fastspring.com with your order ID and the VAT ID.

To do so, contact us via the support interface available in your conference website administration area and tell us which new plan you want to subscribe to.

The new price will be applied starting from the next billing period.

For instance, if your current yearly subscription ends on December 1st 2016 and you ask to change for a monthly subscription on March 1st 2016, the new monthly price will be applied starting on December 2nd 2016.

To cancel your subscription, go to your private orders dashboard by asking an access link to this address: https://confdays.onfastspring.com/account

Once connected to your private account, click on tab "Subscriptions", choose your order and click on the "Manage" select menu. Then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Your website will be available until the end date (depending on the purchased subscription plan) but no new subscription will be billed after this date.

No. Confdays is a pay-as-you-go service. We do not have contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel whenever you want. If you cancel, you’ll be billed for the current month, current 6 month, current year, depending on your subscription plan, but you won’t be billed again.

All purchases at confdays.com via FastSpring (our reseller) are covered by our "14 days No Questions Asked Refund Policy". So we issue refunds for Confdays subscription within 14 days of the original purchase of the subscription.

Refunds are not applicable after 14 days from the date of your subscription purchase. That means refunds are not applicable on subscription renewals.

Several technical steps are needed to launch your website online. Indeed, we need to set up your virtual web server, operating system, softwares, backup, firewall, website, sub-domain, SSL certificate ...

If all goes well during the installation process, you should receive a confirmation email with your temporary credentials.

If you have not received our email confirmation and your website is not available online by typing your sub-domain (https://your-sub-domain.confdays.com) in your browser after 60 mn, please contact us at contact@confdays.com and indicate your name and sub-domain. It is possible that the installation process could have been interrupted by a connection problem.

We can't set up your custom domain name with your Confdays website immediately after your purchase because several steps are needed and takes time to be effective.

A domain or DNS is the URL, or the website address, where your users go to find your conference online. Note that by default, Confdays provides a sub-domain which looks like: your-event.confdays.com

To set up a custom domain, first head to a registrar company like Gandi or Namecheap to purchase and register your domain.

If you already have a domain from these providers or other providers, you have to connect it to your Confdays web server IP. To do so, you need to edit your domain settings and point your A record to your Confdays server's IP address, which looks like 196.227.38.32 (it is just an example).
We will send you your server IP if you want to use your own custom domain.

This manipulation will vary, so check with your own domain provider for support.

After this manipulation, we will set up your server with your domain and restart it to finish the process.

You can request to set up your custom domain by contacting the support through the dedicated link available in your conference website administration area.
